Nice post! Have you tried “Many Eyes” http://services.alphaworks.ibm.com/manyeyes/

    Looks great!
I especially like the red/blue/green and white/blue/green as a piece of “Art”. However, in terms of usability, I don’t find single words very handy. The “weighted” blogroll is also very nice. But as you said, it will only be functional when it is clickable. And readable. No problem with 30 favorites, but with the lot you have… ;)

At least I’m happy that you also placed an
alphabetical list of (potentially) useful life science and health/medical blogs so I could easily pick up mine from the list and was alerted to it by Google.

Well Let’s hope Jonathan is challenged by this and makes your beautiful clouds clickable and linkable.

You encouraged me to play with Wordle as well.

    Cheers, “Laika”

Thanks for adding me to your list of blogs. I am always amazed at where I show up and it always an honour.

    Cheers,

Oh my! Thank you so much for including Emergiblog in your links. I have most certainly returned the favor! : )

Try increasing the “Maximum words” setting under the Layout menu.

Thanks for correcting me! The result is awesome:

What about clickability? Sometime in the future …

Thanks for explaining Wordle. It is definitely something to experiment with… a visual representation of important links. So much more interesting than just a list of links. I’m adding you to my blogroll too, thanks for a great site.

Wow! The expanded version is really great - if only it were large enough to be readable! :) That’s why I think the word limit can be kind of a good thing - but not in this instance, where unique occurrences are important.
