Dear Lina,
Thanks for your interest in our project. Yes, the application date was 1 September and we are right now filling the post. I'm not sure if we are going to recruit yet another person next year -- it depends on internal negotiations here at the university -- but I would advice you to follow the blog closely; all forthcoming posts will be announced here.
All the best,
Thomas

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am finishing my master thesis at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg (Germany), after completing my studies on biotechnology in Strasbourg (France). In October I will start an internship at the German Museum of Science and Technology (Deutsches Museum) and would be very interested to follow a PhD on the subject you propose: "Communicative barriers between biomedical research and everyday health care in a museum context".

I noticed that the deadline for applications has passed for this year. Do you offer this PhD position on a yearly basis?
When does the PhD Program start?

I would appreciate if you could clear up my doubts and provide me with the information you believe to be important in order to decide in favor or against my application.

Thank you very much in advance for your help and attention. Best wishes,
